Hello everyone,

I am writing this blog as I am recieving a ridiculous number of emails and questions via various social medias about the upcoming Formation releases! Its wonderful that there is so much interest, but rather than write a reply to each, I thought I best do a blog about what is coming and when, and to answer all the questions! I have added a full list of what each set contains at the end of this blog post!

So lets go:

1. Can I reserve a copy / is there a pre sale?
We are not doing a pre-sale and we cannot reserve copies because it is way too complicated.

2. What is in each set?
Four 12" vinyl records, all remastered by Beau at Ten Eight Seven, but otherwise direct replicas of the original releases. All come in original formation style spined sleeves. There are two versions of each set, a black vinyl version or a colour vinyl version. The color vinyl is half and half style, to match the sleeve colors.
Eample:

Each set comes in a special plastic sleeve, with a "wraparound" card case inside, and each wraparound card case is specific to each set. The wraparound case can be removed and open up to show a third of the Formation logo - so if you have all three sets, you can make a huge Formation logo poster.

3. How much is each set?
The black set will be £80 (Inc VAT), the colour set will be £90 (inc VAT).

4. Do digital downloads come with each set?
Yes.

5. Is the digital being sold seperately?
No, not at this time, maybe never, its still in discussion.

6. Will there be singles?
Yes, but likely only the black vinyl other than a few colour extras we always have from pressing colour versions of any box sets. And it is likely, if the sets sell out, that we would repress on black versions and they will have a Formation standard sleeve rather than the full replica sleeve.
I also have no idea when the singles would be released, or which ones - it all depends on what we sell and how quickly!

7. Do you have enough pressed?
I don't know lol. I think I do? I knew this was going to be popular, but the response so far has been way more than I expected. I think I may have underordered on the Rhythm For Reasons sets, but we will see.

8. How come I see some people already have copies?
We released a few of each box set at the recent Black Gold record fair.

9. What about Dj SS "Black", The F-Projects, A New Breed Of Ravers, Big Bad Head etc etc?
We are working on it, and if we can, we will.

10. Can I get the release dates and so on?
Yes, thats below. And as always, we will release at 7pm UK time exclusively on www.kniteforcerevolution.com
